Education

The pages in the Education Section are being launched to record our emerging collective wisdom in DRR Education. We are in an exploratory stage, figuring out how, when and where to appropriately use various Web 2.0 and 3.0 tools to harness collective intelligence and build our many overlapping communities of practice.

There are several important kinds of work that we want to facilitate
• Beginning development and exploration of ideas (Listserv discussions? DRR Sourcebook? other?)
• Open collation of collective knowledge of large groups (DRR Sourcebook?)
• Collective authorship of definitive, time-stamped publications by limited group of authors (Google Docs?)
• Dissemination of our clearest thinking to widest possible public through custom essay (eg. Wikipedia, Squidoo lenses, Prevention Web?)

To manage your account and request a daily digest (rather than individual posts) please log in and then:
1. Click on "Subscriber's Corner" in the menu bar
2. Click on the "My Settings" Tab
3. Check the box to the left of the List Name (in this case ENDRR-L)
4. Select "Digest" in the selection box underneath the "Mail Style"
column
5. Click on the "Submit" button
